POWER PROG is proud to announce the signing of the energetic Italian Power Metal powerhouse ALTAIR. Our first common goal will be the release of their debut album "Lost In Eden" in Europe and in North America (as distribution via our partner Nightmare Records) at October 25, 2013.
ALTAIR was founded by the guitar player Gianmarco Bambini and the bass player Luca Scalabrin, the line-up was completed by Simone Mala (Vocals), Enrico Ditta (Keyboards) and Gianluca Ferioli (guitars).
In November 2011 the band starts to record their here presented first full lenght at Roberto Priori's Pristudio, with special guest Jack Bazzani (Blackwings) on drums. They could also win Fabio Lione (Vision Divine, Hollow Haze, ex-Rhapsody Of Fire) as guest singer for the track "Power Of The Gods"
In December 2012 the drummer Daniele Dalla Dea joined ALTAIR, the band was completed to their current line-up and is definitely ready for any deed from now.
"Lost In Eden" is European style Melodic Power Metal in pure culture! Classically arranged with speedy guitars, running bass lines, awesome catchy melodies, well supported by great keyboard work and a vocal performance some others would kill for ... All straight, precisely and uncompromising to the listeners ears! You can really expect something big from this newcomer and the established names of the scene must be wary. ALTAIR belongs the future and is a real hope of Power Metal made in Italy!
