Lance King is world renowned in the underground as “The Voice” in metal, singing on over 25 worldwide releases over the last 21 years. Okay, so here's the short review: Buy this album. If you dig well-composed and entertaining melodic progressive power metal with powerful and
versatile vocals, then Lance King's first solo project, A Moment in Chiros is simply primo material. All in all, Lance King's A Moment in Chiros is a
delight. As much as the concept and musical canvas is a tapestry for King's considerable vocal talent, A Moment in Chiros is a well-rounded and
well-crafted sum of it's equally persuasive participants. This is simply fine melodic progressive power metal from a man who knows his trade quite

There are a plethora of great songs and riffs on here. The music straddles the line between power and prog metal, taking the best of each and blending
them into a satisfying musical journey. The pacing of songs never left me wanting for a burst of speed or for a break from it for some quiet
reflection. The music and the message really resonate with me, and this enlightening album has come at a great time of the year when the leaves fall
and the impending gloom of winter is not too far in the distance. It is full of great song writing, terrific performances, and boasts an excellent
production job. A Moment in Chiros will definitely be in my top 10 for 2011.rnrn
